MISSION STATEMENT
The Department of Neurology and Psychiatry of the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas is
composed of dedicated professionals committed to carrying out the mission of the university, in the education
and formation of responsible and ethical physicians with special competence in the neurosciences. It is a
department that adheres to the practice of the highest standards of health care delivery and scientific
research in the interest of the Philippine society and the international community.
VISION STATEMENT
The Department of Neurology and Psychiatry of the University of Santo Tomas is the center of excellence in
neurologic and psychiatric health care from which emanates service, education, training and research in an
